Pup Fest: Dog Days of Summer – June 29, 2025
Pup Fest at Paséa Hotel & Spa returns this summer, bigger and better than ever, bringing sun-soaked fun, refreshing splash zones, wellness experiences, and tail-wagging excitement to Huntington Beach.
Themed “Dog Days of Summer,” this year's Pup Fest will feature water play, doggy pampering, gourmet barkuterie boards, live music, shopping with local vendors, and social fun in a stunning oceanfront setting.
Dogs dressed in beach-themed costumes can also enter to be the "Face of Pup Fest 2025.”
4th of July Celebration – July 4-6, 2025
Largest celebration west of the Mississippi, Huntington Beach's 4th of July celebration began in 1904 and continues to be a spectacular celebration 121 years later. Attracting more than 500,000 attendees each year, the event features:
- A Family-friendly Surf City 5K Run along the parade route – Friday, July 4 from 7 a.m. – 10 a.m.
- Annual Huntington Beach 4th of July Parade with more than 150 groups of elected officials, military veterans, public safety personnel, marching bands, community groups, and others – Friday, July 4, 2025 at 10 a.m.
- Live Entertainment at Pier Plaza – Friday, July 4, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Sunday, July 6 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Fireworks Over the Ocean – Friday, July 4, 2025 at 9:00 p.m.
- Main Street Block Party – Saturday, July 5, 2025
2025 US Open of Surfing – July 26-August 3, 2025
From July 26 to August 3, 2025, Huntington Beach will host the US Open of Surfing, one of the world's premier surf competitions. This free, nine-day festival features top-tier surfers competing in the World Surf League's Challenger Series and Longboard Tour, alongside skateboarding and BMX exhibitions, sponsor activations, and live entertainment. With over 370,000 attendees expected, it's a must-visit event for action sports enthusiasts and beachgoers alike.
OC Yoga Festival – August 16–17, 2025
Hosted beachside in Huntington Beach, the OC Yoga Festival blends wellness, community, and coastal vibes across two days of movement, mindfulness, and holistic living. The festival is dedicated to wellness, with a program including yoga classes, meditation, sound baths, and a marketplace of local health-conscious vendors.
Life Rolls On: They Will Surf Again – August 23, 2025
Life Rolls On is an adaptive surfing event that empowers individuals with mobility challenges to ride the waves with the help of volunteers and surf coaches. Created by Jesse Billauer, a former professional surfer and spinal cord injury survivor, the event is a moving tribute to resilience, inclusion, and community support.
Taste of Huntington Beach – August 24, 2025
A local favorite, the Taste of Huntington Beach returns on August 24 for a delicious day of bites, sips, and community spirit. Attendees will enjoy offerings from dozens of local restaurants, wineries, and breweries while supporting the Children's Department of the Huntington Beach Public Library.
A Great Day in the Stoke – September 27, 2025
A Great Day in the Stoke is returning for a fourth consecutive year for Black surfers to connect, compete, recognize, and award community leaders. The first A Great Day in the Stoke was held in Huntington Beach in June 2022 and was the largest gathering of Black surfers in history. The event also offers opportunities to provide surf lessons, additional wellness experiences, and capture an iconic photo similar to ones taken at A Great Day in Harlem (1958) and A Great Day in Hip-Hop (1998).
Pacific Airshow – October 3-5, 2025
This three-day spectacle in the sky will return to Surf City USA for the eighth time this fall. Spectators can watch from the beach as the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, fan-favorite F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team and A-10 Demo Team fly over the Huntington Beach Pier and along the coastline.
SoCal Corgi Beach Day – October 25, 2025
Corgi Beach Day, the largest event of its kind, is held every spring and fall at Huntington State Beach, having outgrown its original home at Huntington Dog Beach. This lively celebration of all things corgi draws dog lovers and corgi owners from across the U.S. to "pawty" by the ocean. Attendees enjoy a packed schedule of themed contests, photo stations, a dog-centric vendor village, a corgi kissing booth, and much more. All dog breeds (and their humans) are welcome at this free, family-friendly event. Founded in 2012 with just 15 corgis, Corgi Beach Day has grown into the largest breed-specific gathering in the nation. In Spring 2025, the event set a new record, drawing 15,000 attendees who enjoyed a vibrant vendor village, food trucks, selfie stations, interactive experiences for pets and owners, and spirited contests.
