Water Country USA Opens All-New High Tide Harbor on May 23
Members will be among the first to ride when Virginia's largest waterpark opens the all-new kid-friendly play area Memorial Day Weekend
WILLIAMSBURG, VA. (May 19, 2025) – Summer is here at Water Country USA, Virginia's largest waterpark, now open for the summer season. New at the park this summer is High Tide Harbor, a multi-level interactive play area, built for families to explore together with interactive features for kids of all ages to enjoy. In the days leading up to the official opening of the attraction on May 23, Members will have the exclusive opportunity to explore this exciting new play area before anyone else. Guests who want to join the fun this summer can save up to 50% on Water Country USA tickets, Fun Cards and Memberships for a limited time during the Memorial Day Sale, available online only.
High Tide Harbor is an all-new play area featuring over 100 interactive water elements, including water cannons, sprayers and tipping fountains. Plus, younger thrill-seekers can experience four different slides, each offering a unique twist, turn or splash.
The park will host an Opening Ceremony for High Tide Harbor on May 23 at 1:30PM. Guests are invited to experience the ribbon cutting, DJ dance party and more. The High Tide Harbor attraction was manufactured by PROSLIDE.
In addition to High Tide Harbor, the park's youngest guests can enjoy Lil' Surfers Splash Pad and Cow-a-bunga. Thrill seekers can experience world-class attractions like Cutback Water Coaster, Riptide Race and Aquazoid Amped. Visitors of all ages can relax and unwind in the Surfer's Bay wave pool and Hubba Hubba Highway, a free-floating river adventure.
