GRAPEVINE, TEXAS (May 28, 2025) – Summer is heating up in Grapevine with a full calendar of events in June to celebrate the season. From new exhibits and family-friendly attractions to live music and wine experiences, the destination offers great ways to soak up the longer days of Summer. Here's a look at what's happening this month:
FAMILY-FRIENDLY FUN:
Universe of Light at Gaylord Texan Resort
*New this Summer* - From May 23 through August 31, step into Universe of Light, the first-ever DC Universe Super Hero and Villain themed lantern show in the U.S., where 1,000 handcrafted lanterns and cutting-edge LEDs bring 40 iconic super heroes and super-villains to life across glowing, immersive scenes from Gotham City, Metropolis, Themyscira and beyond. Live at the Lodge at Great Wolf Lodge
*New this Summer* - Howl along to the sounds of Summer at Great Wolf Lodge, where country star Gabby Barrett has hand-picked a lineup of live weekend performances in June, including Travis Denning (June 6), Tyler Farr (June 14), Catie Offerman (June 21) and Jackson Wendell (June 27). *Returning this Summer* - The floating water park at Meadowmere Park is back with exciting new climbing structures, floating cabanas and membership options to elevate the experience. *Returning this Summer* - Enter the whimsical world of Clarence the Wizard, where teams must tidy his spellbound cottage before he returns. All Tracks Lead to Grapevine
*Returning this Summer* - Travel millions of years into the past this summer as Historic Grapevine transforms into Prehistoric Grapevine from June 2 through August 31. Roam through the Be the Dinosaur exhibit at the Grapevine Tower Gallery, catch classic dinosaur cartoons and movies at Historic Palace Theatre, explore dino history with special guest speakers at the Grapevine Public Library and see where dinosaurs once roamed aboard Grapevine Vintage Railroad and from 150 feet in the air at Grapevine Observation Tower. Plus, tracks around Grapevine will mark the spot for fossil finds and dino treats at Historic Main Street boutiques, chocolatiers and cafés. Find more information here.
Dairy Day at Historic Nash Farm
Experience Farm life at Dairy Day on June 7 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. This is a fun and interactive event where families can explore traditional dairy practices like milking, butter churning and cheese making. Enjoy live milking demonstrations and hands-on activities while learning how dairy has shaped daily life on the Farm for generations. Tickets are $5 in advance at NashFarm.org.
Repticon at Grapevine Convention Center
Get up close with creatures from around the globe at Repticon, a two-day expo packed with exotic animal excitement on June 28 and 29 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Explore live animal encounters, shop for pets and supplies directly from experts and learn all about reptiles and exotics through engaging educational sessions. Summer Solstice Wine Trail
Celebrate the longest day of the year on June 21 with the Summer Solstice Wine Trail along Grapevine's Historic Main Street. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., guests can sip and stroll through seven local winery tasting rooms, enjoying a flight of three wines and a perfectly paired bite at each stop. Tropical Tastes and Perfect Pairings at Messina Hof
Escape to the Hof on June 28 from 5 – 7 p.m. and elevate your palate with five tropical delights expertly paired with Vibrant Vintages, showcasing how island-inspired flavors, like coconut and pineapple, beautifully complement and enhance Messina Hof wines. 2nd Annual Lone Star Speakeasy Special
Step back into the 1920s aboard the Lone Star Speakeasy Special, an evening excursion on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad on June 6. This dazzling event transforms the train into a mobile speakeasy, complete with the sights and sounds from the era. Vinyasa at the Vin
On June 1, start the morning with an energizing Vinyasa Flow class led by Inspire Yoga at Hotel Vin, complete with mats provided and refreshments on hand. Kick off Summer weekends with live music every Friday night in June at 7:30 p.m. on Peace Plaza. Set against the scenic backdrop of Grapevine Main Station, this free concert series features an exciting lineup of tribute bands and talented artists, including:

- June 13: Like Combs – A Luke Combs Tribute
- June 20: Forever Mac – A Celebration of Fleetwood Mac

The Longest Day 12-hour Concert
On June 21 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., musician Joshua Ingram will host his annual 12-hour concert at Peace Plaza in Grapevine as part of The Longest Day, a global Alzheimer's Association initiative to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer's care, support and research. This year's “12x12x12” theme encourages attendees to donate $12, invite 12 friends and enjoy 12 hours of live music - all for a meaningful cause. Find more information here.
